Please provide a summary of your business, who you serve and how you serve them

Michele Renee Beauty focuses on aligning women with their skin and soul journey to bring forward their inner and outer glow. I serve mostly women who are overworked personally and professionally and need guidance to help enhance their self-awareness through their skin journey, which ultimately becomes a soul journey. I help them deepen their relationship with themselves through their connection with their skin as well as with nourishing touch and energy work. I am here to support their journey toward realizing their skin is a message from their body which often cultivates due to an imbalance between physical, mental and emotional concerns. It is my duty to help them align these aspects to both reveal beautiful glowing skin and a beautiful glowing soul.

What were key elements of your personal and professional journey that lead you to where you are today?

After going through intense physical chronic pain, I realized that the mindbody connection is stronger than we have been taught. We have so much more power within ourselves to heal, we just need the right guidance to arrive there. After my husband passed away, I realized that helping others understand the mindbody connection was my purpose. Having the foundation I created when I was healing through my struggles was imperative to healing through my grief. It is often a difficult concept for a lot of people to conceptualize, so helping women through their skin to their soul became the way I help others understand their true power and strength within.

What motivates you the most to keep going?

A deep inner knowing that this is my purpose and allowing it to develop, change and bloom into what it is supposed to be.

What is one important lesson that entrepreneurship has taught you that has impacted you the most?

That I need to take care of myself first. Knowing the concept of mindbody connection and how important it is doesn't mean I do it perfectly. Entrepreneurship reminds me that I can overwork until I'm exhausted really as much as I want, but that doesn't help me live the life I really want to live.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?  What do you still have left to accomplish?

In 10 years I see myself growing and shifting into who I am supposed to be at that point in my life. This also includes being a bad ass skincare entrepreneur traveling through out the world, helping more people understand their deeper wisdom through a skin and soul connection.

Why did you join The Elleiance Network, why do you think it is important to have a support network and what do you love most about being a part of Elleiance?

I always am inspired by others stories of perseverance and strength through difficult journey's, and female entrepreneurs typically have many of these chapters within their life. It's wonderful to connect with other women who "get it". That the typical 9-5 doesn't fulfill us, and that we sacrifice for the bigger picture. I need these types of women in my life to relate to as well as learn from.

Michele is the example of living embodiment of her purpose. Her strength, resilience and courage stand-out in how she chooses to lead her life. Witnessing Michele step into her 2.0 era with her business transition to skin and soul treatments has been such an inspiration.
