Swag Events stands as a full-service wedding and events company, offering a comprehensive suite of services from design and decor to planning. With a commitment to excellence, we bring dreams to life with personalized touches and meticulous attention to detail. Accredited through the esteemed Wedding Planners Institute of Canada, our team combines professionalism with creativity, ensuring unforgettable experiences that exceed expectations.

What were key elements of your personal and professional journey that lead you to where you are today?

My journey into the wedding and events world began as a photographer and soon evolved into a love for design and decor. Starting with just my partner and me, our small venture quickly gained momentum, necessitating the expansion of our team. I eventually bought out my partner and now we are a full service wedding and event company that is certified designer, decorators, planners, consultants and coordinators.

What motivates you the most to keep going?

My staff is my greatest source of motivation in business. Their unwavering commitment and dedication inspire me to push forward each day. Witnessing them show up consistently, giving their best selves, fuels my determination to lead by example and create an environment where they can thrive. It's this synergy, where my team's dedication meets our shared vision, that allows us to serve our clients in the best possible way. Their passion ignites mine, and together, we continue to grow and exceed expectations, knowing that we're doing awesome work for our amazing clients.

What is one important lesson that entrepreneurship has taught you that has impacted you the most?

One important lesson entrepreneurship has taught me is to take risks. Over the last decade, I have gained a lot from taking risks. Usually resulting in great business opportunities, sometimes just offering up a valuable lesson.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?  What do you still have left to accomplish?

Well, that's hard to answer. I can't honestly imagine doing anything else. I love my job, my team and weddings/events. I am excited to come to work every day and I hope to feel the same way in ten years.

Joining the Elleiance Network has been instrumental for me as an entrepreneur. It's provided valuable support of like-minded individuals who understand the challenges and triumphs of building a business. The woman offer encouragement, collaboration and motivation.
