Superpowers of the Feminine: Trusting Your Intuition
During yesterday’s Elleiance CEO meeting, we took five minutes to reflect on the biggest lessons we’ve learned in business. When it came time to share, every single woman in the room said the same thing:
Trust your intuition above all else. Be confident enough in yourself that when something feels off, or isn’t a full-body “YES,” let it go.
This resonated deeply with me because it’s my greatest lesson too. I’m still learning to lean in and trust my intuition faster, but here’s what I know for sure:
I deeply trust a woman who trusts herself. These women are unf*ckwithable. These are my people.
Why Is Trusting Your Intuition So Hard?
How many times have you had a gut feeling about something but talked yourself out of it? How often do you tell yourself, “I must be imagining things,” or “it’s probably just me”?
The problem is, our intuition—especially as women—is often gaslit by others or even by ourselves. We’re told we’re being too emotional or paranoid, and over time, we stop trusting that inner knowing.
But here’s the truth: These intuitive knowings are the superpowers of the feminine. And instead of trusting them, we gaslight ourselves because they don’t always make logical sense.
Guess what? The feminine isn’t meant to “make sense” in the traditional, logical way. It’s meant to feel. It’s meant to be. Our intuition speaks to us in the language of the body, and it’s often unexplainable but undeniably real.
Why Women Entrepreneurs Need to Embrace Intuition
In business, trusting your intuition can be the difference between feeling aligned with your purpose or chasing something that’s not meant for you. The most successful female entrepreneurs I know are those who have learned to lean into that gut feeling and make decisions that align with their inner compass.
As women, we bring an incredibly valuable, often overlooked, quality to business: emotional intelligence. This intuition-driven leadership style creates deeper connections, more authentic collaborations, and a stronger sense of purpose.
Here’s What You Can Do
Next time you get that gut feeling—whether in business or in life—trust it. Lean into it. Start practicing self-confidence by saying "no" to things that don’t feel like a full “YES.” Over time, you’ll develop an unshakable trust in yourself that will serve you in all areas of life.
Remember, your intuition is your superpower. The more you trust it, the more unstoppable you’ll become.
